Owning your shadow parts
January 26, 2022I want to encourage you to begin to form a new relationship with money. This will be ongoing, particularly as new systems come into our society and changes are being made globally when it comes to how we exchange and buy things.
Simply explained, money is just energy and a part of our current system that has been created to place value on a good or service for exchange. That value will vary depending on need in society, and the individual and their own needs and preferences. To give a simple example, if you love reading you will place much higher value on a book and be willing to pay for it, than someone who doesn’t. Or look at how the value of hand sanitiser went up during the Covid-19 pandemic.
What we don’t take into account are the many things that contribute to society that we don’t place a monetary value on for exchange – things such as kindness, how we care for others in our family, holding space for a friend, even a smile to a stranger can have an enormous effect on their day, which ripples out.
This, in my opinion, has contributed to many people, particularly empathpreneurs, not owning their worth and value when it comes to what they offer. I go into this in more depth later in the book.
Money isn’t the big thing we have made it out to be. It is simply there for us to use as a value for exchange. And I want to encourage you to feel deeper into what that is, and how you can begin to see it differently.
I invite you to tune into the energy of money. Feel into the energy behind what it physically is. Feel into its essence.
- What comes to you? What do you feel? What do you see? What does it have to say to you?
- How could you begin to see money differently in your life?
