The Earth is also our mother and she has been there always. She is there to hold, comfort and provide. She is the one that connects us, nurtures and nourishes us all. She is beautiful, majestic, abundance.

When I disconnected from my body it didn’t feel safe to even be here. As I’ve returned and allowed myself to be held by this great mother, I realise that all the love, safety and nourishment I wanted was right here all along.

These days I spend time with my head on the ground, or in meditation my heart connected to hers allowing her to fill me up, ground me, support me.

It feels so wonderful to lie directly on the grass, the earth.

It soothes me, it nurtures me,  it helps bring me back to myself.

My heart slows to beat along with her pulse.

I feel the beat of the earth flowing through me – leaving behind the busy-ness and noise that is my life.

I feel the sun on my face, it warms my skin, it softens my joints, I relax into it and slowly we fuse together to become one.

I am one with the earth. We are one.

I feel at home.
