What do you put up with in your life that you make excuses for, but you know deep down could be better? Perhaps it’s some consistent aches and pains, which you just put down to your body getting older. Maybe it’s friends who don’t actually treat you that well and leave you feeling drained. Maybe it’s a job where you feel unmotivated and unchallenged and you spend your time counting down the days until the weekend.
Why don’t we expect more for ourselves? Why don’t we strive for a life that makes us feel wonderful and thrilled to be alive from the moment we get up in the morning? Why do we settle?
Yes, I know things can happen which are not always easy and may be out of our control, but that doesn’t mean we can’t change the situations we have a choice over, to make them as sweet and juicy as our heart desires.
It starts with taking the first step.
A choice followed by an action.
Little by little.
If you don’t make time for you, nobody else will. How you treat yourself is how others will. Show yourself you are worthy of time, care and attention and all that happens in life will begin to reflect this.
You are so worthy.
You are so deserving.
You are so loved.
Keep reminding yourself of this.
