Business Co-Creation

Feeling.
Gentleness.
Intuition.
Allowing.
Being.
Trusting.
Co-creating.
Honouring.
Un-folding.
These were not words I ever associated with business.
Business was about order, systems, taking action, at times a numbers game, getting things done and getting results. Now don’t get me wrong, these parts are absolutely a part of business, but the way I learned to ‘do’ business saw this way as the ONLY way.
It was very masculine focused, and didn’t honour or even allow space for more feminine qualities such as the ones I have listed above.
It led to burn out and exhaustion. Feeling like I wasn’t cut out for it, something was probably wrong with me. Questioning why I was doing what I was doing and wanting to run for the hills, or at least escape in copious amounts of booze, comforting carbs, sleeping, and endless box-sets to live vicariously through some other person’s life.
When I began my entrepreneurial journey deep down I knew there was no way I could do business in this way. I tried to a bit in the beginning but it failed miserably (#selfsabotage). I knew that there was no way that it would be sustainable, not for me anyway. It didn’t honour my cyclical nature, it didn’t feel good in my body, and it felt like there was a piece missing.
Later, I learned – there was.
There was this whole other magical part which worked with your business as its own energy, each offering in it with their individual energy too. I learned that there can be another way to ‘doing’ business than what many of us have been taught. I could create my own way.
Today, I absolutely lean into practical action and the doing, and am eternally grateful for all I learned in my 20+ years of business experience, but I also balance it with the intuitive, the being, the co-creating, the unfolding and allowing, and space.
Lots of space.
It’s one of my missions for us to fully embrace this way. A way that is deeply nourishing, magical, sustainable, pleasurable and fun as well as practical, grounded and financially flourishing.
If this sounds good and a way you would like to lean into in your business, I invite you to book in a call with me and let’s chat to see if we might be a fit to work together.
