Having meaningful connections
September 7, 2021Living a purpose or heart-led life can be super hard at times.
It goes against the norm of ‘western’ society in many ways and as we move into new levels of visibility or vulnerability, what we’re being called into – really following that soul aligned path, it’s not always easy.
You will likely find that you leave things behind as you step up, as you re-align your life to move into what you are being called into.
I personally have let go of many friendships, as well as self-sabotaging patterns and behaviours. A big one for me was drinking alcohol. I used to go out drinking all the time with friends, and I actually really enjoyed it, I loved it and had some awesome fun times. But it was also destroying me health wise – emotionally, physically, mentally. And I was being guided to stop consistently, my sensitive body couldn’t handle it.
Over this past year as I have moved into deeper levels of what I am being called to do, I found myself coming up against feelings of loneliness, fear of rejection, grief. This journey really brings up all the things!
I have had to create a lot of space to hold these feelings, be with them fully. I find I often go back to childhood or even past lives, to release and heal where that specific feeling is coming from in the moment.
So, I just want to really honour and acknowledge you, if this resonates, and hold space for these things that come up on this journey, the very human parts that rise – from leading a life that is in alignment with who you KNOW you are here to be.
A little reminder, as I know many of you are wonderful at this, but we all need regular and consistent self care, as well as external support and connections, whatever it is that you need to really help you, and remind you, that it’s okay to feel that way. To hold those parts of you, to really honour them, as you move through them.
If you are feeling that this is something you would like to dive into on a deeper level, let’s jump on a call together and and see what it might be like to work together. You can book in a time here.
