How my book is shaping my next level of leadership…

I’ve shared a lot about writing my latest book, Embodied Power, and how it’s continued to work in, through, and with me. I have another update: it’s now moving through me in an almost literal, tangible, visceral way that none of my previous four books ever did.

Each book has taken me into more of my own embodiment. That’s always been the pattern. But this time, it feels as though I’m living the book again, piece by piece, in real time.

Almost daily I find myself inside different aspects of it, only later remembering: this is something I wrote about. It’s as though the words themselves are pulling me into fuller expression.

One day, after some intense but fast-moving clearing, I felt the energy of money filling me, flowing into every part of my body. A reminder that our relationship is just beginning. Even though money was so present during the early writing of this book, it still wants to deepen. This is the essence of the ‘Embodied Money’ section.

Another day, I reflected on leadership. On the tiny acts of compassion that feel insignificant yet mean everything when they’re extended to me. On how to lead with empathy, to hold space with care rather than pressure. Again, I recognised: this is straight from the ‘Embodied Leader’ section.

Then there are quieter moments. Like recently, when I felt immense gratitude for my body: the home that has carried me through, even when my relationship with it has been fractured to say the least. That tenderness is the heartbeat of the ‘Embodied Love’ section.

And lately, I feel as if I’m standing in an entirely new timeline compared with only three months ago. More confident, assured, accepting, power-full! Timeline-jumping is something I play with often, and something I wrote about in the ‘Embodied Magic’ section.

What I didn’t anticipate was that writing Embodied Power would ask me to embody it all at a new level. Each day feels like an initiation into the words I once poured onto the page.

But, most significantly, this book (alongside my ‘Embody your creative power’ programme I have been running since February) has opened the doorway to my next stage of leadership.

I am now saying yes to something that feels both super scary and beyond exciting: launching my own hybrid publishing company, Global Soul Press.

After five books of my own, an oracle deck, and 7 years within the incredible Unbound Press publisher and community (for which I’ll always be grateful), I knew it was time. Time to create a home for visionary, global, soulful writers ready to bring their words into the world. The truth is, this idea has been circling me for more than a year, waiting for me to step in.

When you follow the threads of guidance and step into the power that’s already yours: your truth, the essence of who you are, it takes you exactly where you’re meant to be. It may not look neat, predictable, or even comfortable, but it will up-level you into what you know you’re here for. That’s what it means to really embody your power.
