When your creation asks more of you

Recently, I’ve been called to go deeper into the roots of Embodied Money — the book I’m writing, which I’ve shared about in past e-letters.

I keep thinking I know where to begin… I have a sense, a feeling, a glimpse of what the book might be (I never see the whole picture until almost the very end of the process). But the moment I try to hold onto it, it vanishes.

Don’t get me wrong — some of what has come through will likely form threads in the book.

But they’re not the book.

What has stayed constant, though, ever since this creative project arrived almost 20 months ago, is this: Go deep. Into the stillness. Into the roots.

And honestly? I haven’t fully listened. Not until now.

I’ve been feeling the energy of the book rising from far beneath the Earth. We’re talking deep — into the core and beyond (without going out the other side). It felt like another dimension. Something ancient, sacred, and vast.

Over the past month, I’ve been experiencing lower back and hip pain. That didn’t surprise me — the lower back is often connected to money, and issues around money. But this hip pain was new, unfamiliar. And the only thing that brought comfort was hip-opening yin poses.

Even though I have been tending to it physically, the pain kept whispering: come deeper.
Let go of the noise. Step away from the distractions. Release everything that’s not fully aligned.

Things such as the digital spaces I am a part of. The email subscriptions. The online groups I run and am a part of. Netflix and YouTube videos which have become a mindless weekly habit. Really scaling back, more than ever.

Then last week… it was time.

In the most powerful, held energy session, I finally dropped into the root of the book.

Beneath the layers of the Earth — into a pool of liquid gold at the core — and then even further, into another dimension. The only way I can describe it: it felt like both everything and nothing. The centre point of creation. Zero point.

This is where I have been bathing. Letting it vibrate in every cell of my being. Allowing the aliveness to rewire me from the inside out.

I think it’s taken me this long to go there because I’ve not felt ready.

I’ve danced in these spaces before — but this feels deeper.
There’s also a part of me that fears missing out if I fully let go into it.
That wonders: if I’m not pushing, where will the money come from?
That clings to the noise to create the illusion of safety.
That doesn’t fully understand what she’s saying yes to… and fears it might all be for nothing.

All those parts — the tender ones — have been with me before.
They don’t need to be fixed. Just held. Comforted. Reassured. Acknowledged.

Because when we say yes to a true creation — especially something this energetic — we’re not just saying yes to making a thing.

We’re saying yes to an initiation.

And saying yes is just the beginning.

The pull of the known — the busy-ness, the plans, the mind — will try to claw you back. But the deeper current is always calling.

So if you’re on the edge of something…
A creation.
An offering.
A new way of being in the world…

I wonder:

Are you letting yourself truly drop into what you’re truly being called into?

Or are you still dancing with the tension — between what you know, and what you really know?

Since letting myself fully drop down. Fully be where I was called to, the words have started pouring out. Just like always – when I let go of what I think something should look like and allow it to be what it really is, things happen that I could never plan!
