Ignite the creative energy of new beginnings

Creating is a devotional practice
January 10, 2025What if you stopped “doing” and let creativity flow?
While action is, of course, a vital part of creation, it’s so easy to slip into “doing” from a place of fear — trying to meet expectations, prove your worth, or measure up to someone else. But when actions come from that space, they rarely lead to the powerful, aligned work your soul is here to create.
Your unique, magical creative power begins with something much deeper: feeling safe and secure within yourself.
When you pause, slow down, and take the time to cultivate inner safety, something incredible happens. You unlock a flow of creativity that feels effortless, limitless, and completely aligned with who you truly are.
This is exactly how I approach my own creative process, and it’s how I guide others, too.
It starts with grounding — rooting deeply into your body and the Earth. Imagine softening every part of yourself, gently releasing tension, and quieting the noise of the outside world: the shoulds, the musts, the endless to-dos. Then, finding an anchor within yourself that connects you to the heart of the Earth.
From this place of stillness, you can begin to tune into the wisdom inside you.
By listening to your feelings, sensations, and the quiet messages your body is always sending, you begin to honour and deepen the sacred relationship with yourself.
When your body feels safe, loved, and supported, relaxation follows. And from that space, anything is possible.
Your truest, most magical self begins to emerge. Creativity flows freely. Ideas and inspiration seem to appear out of nowhere. You stop forcing and start creating in alignment with your truth—what you’re really here to create.
This is the essence of creative power, and it’s something I would love to explore with you.
