A little intro post, with some random things about me, to say hello 👋🏾.

😊I was named Tara after my parents were looking up at the stars in India (it means star if you didn’t guess already ✨).

🌍I am adopted from India, spent the first 18 years of my life in Kenya, the next 19.5 in London and am now back in Kenya where I’ve been since Feb this year. I plan to go back to the UK sometime next year.

🪐I am a virgo sun, virgo moon and gemini rising.

🍍I’ve been vegan for almost three years now.

🎨I did an art degree, but it ruined art for me and it took me 15 years to get back into it.

🐘I was obsessed with elephants when I was younger. Especially purple ones, I had purple elephant everything! My dad still buys me purple elephant things 💜.

🧍🏾‍♀️I’m the oldest of seven (there’s a 12 year age gap between me and the youngest who are twins) and between us we have British, Canadian, German and Irish passports.

📰I’ve been on the cover of TIME magazine. I was 6 and it was a silhouette on an environmental poster for the UN my dad created.

🧘🏾‍♀️My work, even though about business and lifestyle, always comes back to connecting to our bodies. I spent most of the first part of my life escaping mine, numbing it, and avoiding feeling it. I then had to find my way back into it as I was struggling with a number of physical, mental and emotional issues (I wrote my first book on this). This is an ongoing and evolving journey, which gets more magical and alchemical the more I dive into it. I truly believe we hold all we need inside and going into it is key to creating our outer experience.
