The journey of self-love is intertwined with the empathpreneurial one. As empaths, we feel so much that it is almost impossible to separate what happens in your business with how it relates to you. I know from being an empath myself, working with empaths and those who aren’t empaths, the difference in how they react and respond to things that happen in their business. 

For example, in a situation where perhaps a client decides to pull out or gives some negative feedback, those who aren’t empaths are able to separate the facts from feelings much more easily and not get stuck in where they might have gone wrong. Empaths will feel more of the emotional nuances and may let it stop them or spend a lot of time questioning it, going into it and reflecting. Perhaps giving it more time and energy than it deserves.

Absolutely, as you continue on this journey, you get better at not taking things so personally and are able to move through situations which might not feel so good, you are able to see the lesson in it all and learn and grow from it. 

But another suggestion is to surrender to the journey of self-love from the beginning. See it as equally important to your success in business, not least as a way to look after yourself as you deserve, but also from a vibrational standpoint.

The more self-love you are able to give yourself, the more you will be able to build resilience and look after yourself as you need to be looked after, to do the work you are here to do.

Self-love is a non-negotiable in my opinion and needs to be regularly topped up so that you know your worth and your value. You let it lead and don’t waste time going into things that you know aren’t here for you. It connects you to your truth, and showing up from that space is life-changing.
